Aside of Pesto #19 - Wyrmlings Kickstarter & Updates
Hey everyone! I’ve got exciting news!
Wyrmlings
The Wyrmlings RPG is coming to Kickstarter on April 25! It's a cute, wholesome, all-ages TTRPG about young dragons going on adventures, and I wrote three adventures for it.
A Toad-ally Avoidable Situation. When a wyrmling runs (literally) into magical mishap, it’s up to the Wyrmling Brigade to gather the ingredients that the local witch needs to turn their friend back to normal.
Muffin But Trouble. When a shopkeeper uses magical sugar and creates mischievous mobile muffins, it’s up to the Wyrmling Brigade to solve the problem… by catching and eating the misbehaving muffins.
The Vegetable Villain Steals Lunch. When Inkly the novelist runs into writers block, she turns to the Wyrmling Brigade to act out her story. Can they outwit Doc Broc the Vegetable Villain and his Brussels Louts?
If this doesn’t give you a solid idea of what you’re in for, you can download a preview version.
It’s super important for crowdfunding projects to get off to a strong start, so I encourage you to sign up to be alerted when the project launches.
Pesto’s Guide to Testing
PGtT is off to the editor! Her estimated turnaround time is three weeks, which means that the digital version will go out to backers and go live on Itch and DriveThruRPG in mid-May.
Once the digital version is live, I’ll hand the project off to my print-on-demand layout artist, who will get it ready for DriveThruRPG and Amazon PoD. I don’t have a timeline for that, but when I do, I’ll let you know.
Oh, yeah, and I’ve already started working on the kobolds. More on that soon.
Miscellaneous
Save or Suck has gone silver! Thanks to everyone that’s already picked it up. If you’re tired of wasting your turns when the big bad shrugs off your spells, check this project out.
That’s it. I thought I had more when I turned miscellaneous into its own section but I’m not changing it now.
See you next week for a very short Kickstarter go-live email, then it’s [probably] radio-silence until PGtT launches.
